Freedom from Something Is Not Freedom

What is Freedom? Is it doing what ever you want, when you want? It is having no restrictions whatsoever put upon you? Will you know it when you are free?

Freedom is something that cannot be experienced. It is something you cannot 'know'. Freedom IS however, the unmanifest state of Origin that YOU ARE. Freedom from pain, anxiety, worry, suffering is not freedom in the absolute sense. When we 'lose' something we cast our mind back and say that we lost freedom. This is a concept that is placed upon an experience of something that happened. Usually when there is a loss of something there is a great cry for Freedom! But it is a misuse of the word.

Cosmic Intelligence is 'FREE' to endlessly create. We are a part of that conciousness and we have been given the gift of Free Will. All of Us. It is all contained in that dimension of Primordial creative impulse we call 'Freedom'. True freedom, like true enlightenment, like true Love, is not dependent on any circumstance. It just IS. Often Choice and Freedom are used interchangably and yet some of the most balanced, aware, peaceful, impactful people are the ones that spend years in caves, in political prisons, prisoners in their own bodies and yet have attained a state that is akin to the First Freedom. In otherwords the phenomenal world does what it does. Things come and go. Power structures are made and dismantled. Forms of government come and go endlessly. The attainments of real freedom is not in anything that is done. It is wholly in who you are. It is a state of being that is in total flux around the points of eternity. What is, is. When your consciousness is in a state of flux you can move with anything. For the body may be confined, rules may be imposed, access to good things may be restricted but this has nothing to do with your freedom. Freedom has to do with the fluidity of your mind and spirit to adapt and change, to continually, creatively respond to the unique set of circumstances presented in any moment. It you live in world of should be's and shouldn't be's you are bound to suffer. If you align your attention and awareness with the endless possibility that is offered with things as they are, you dwell in creative expression.

Where there is experience there is an experiencer and the experiencer must recognise the experience, otherwise it is not an experience. To the experiencer there is no freedom because things constantly change. This is the nature of this world.

Our task is to become quiet and recognize that freedom is a state of being, not becoming.
